Jo Cooklin’s performance as Leyla in our production of the play “Going Back” at the Kick Up the Arts festival in July was remembered by an actress who saw the show, who then recommended Jo for a role in a play she was appearing in “Two Sisters”. As a result Jo was cast. Cat’s Whiskers will be there to support her.
“Two Sisters” is one of nine plays in a programme of new writing at the Southwark Playhouse on Sunday 24th November. Little Pieces of Gold
Seven of the plays incidentally are written by women and six of them directed by women. Redresses the inbalance a bit!

With Marjorie Gone has been selected for this year’s No/Gloss Film Festival in Leeds.  The festival takes place on 19th/20th October and our film is being screened on Saturday 19th October in the 5.15 pm programe in Screen Two at Canal Mills.  Some interesting looking other films to be shown in the same sitting.  Carol will be there to support the film and answer any questions.  So hope to see you there. http://www.noglossfilmfestival.co.uk/
